If this blog can be believed, a world wide food shortage is already in the making.
I remember hearing someone say (on TV) that the days of cheap food have passed.
I have to wonder why I am so late in getting wind of this?

I've heard the same prediction from the media.

oh, and increased use of ethanol will cause corn prices to go up, which will cause feed prices go up, which will cause meat prices to go up.

silver and gold become useless when there is no food to buy with it.

Since the USA has taken it on herself to tell God His is no longer welcome here, we can look for famines and other things not usually sent on us.
