No, Catholicism was before Martin Luther. This topic is subject to something that has come since. Something in the Protestant grouping.

No mater which denomination you talk about, at some point you will have to talk about the Catholics.

I get what you're asking, IMHO each denomination had it hay day since the note was nailed to the door to bring us to the Messianic Christianity of today. Each runner in a relay race takes their turn carrying the baton.
