Wow Goober, I guess the Grace center forum has been a hot spot the last few days! What's is it about the sabbath and the doctrine of eternal hell that get folks so fired-up? Pun intended!

It's been awhile since I've done a topic study on the lawless and lawlessness, but it is certainly increasing. The lengths they go to just to justify ignoring the scriptures.
I can't bear to read the hell thread anymore with the way they were twisting words.
Sorry folks, the Sabbath is still the day God said to Remember, He blessed, He decreed holy, to be the day of holy convocation, He made for man, and Jesus said He was Lord of. When talking about the second death, Jesus used words like destroyed, consumed, and perish; none of these indicate eternally burning, but do demonstrate His mercy.
Stay strong brother.

Yes, I find the amount of word twisting incredible and the lack of consistency and common sense astounding. I thought I did a pretty goo job on the Luke 16:19-31 thread and some of the answers just floored me.
What do the five brother represent? Five brothers....der!
How no one can catch the significance of Judah having five brother between Leah and Jacob just floors me, I mean when I saw this it was like a light bulb going off. I've had Adventist pastors tell me it's the five races on the earth, and other such stuff, but when you see it in Genesis and all it makes so much more sense.
Anyway, I'll stay strong. Have too. They have seemed to have accepted...er, tolerated me up to now!

Sometimes going to those boards can be the most depressing time of the day, normally the new gets that honor hands down.

Banned again |

Well, I guess Grace Centered isn't as 'Grace Centered" as they think they are.
I got banned from there today for "being rude to other posters" and "twisting" scriptures. Guess in all revolved around my comments on the Exodus 20:13 thread.
I guess being "rude" for having a sense of humor (really, when you see my response to phoebe you'll laugh!) I suppose and "twisting" scripture because I am decidedly "anti-war" and asked if someone would kindly show me where Jesus ever advocated violence towards another.
Gotta have a "violent" scripture to justify phony wars built on lies and deceit. Oh well, I figure by the time Jesus comes, I will have been banned from every so-called "Christian Forum" on the internet!
Do me a favor Goob and tell everyone over there I said hi!
Hasta!

**sigh** banned from another...
RND, are you feeling ok? you used to get banned in mere days and now it's taking weeks!
I came to the realization that most are accustomed to being spoon fed and can't handle stuff full strength. With that realization I've gotten better at cutting stuff up before I give it to them. All the substance is still there, but it is in more manageable chunks for them to chew and swallow. Those that refuse to eat are left alone till they get hungry enough to eat. Since most of these topics are post-salvational, God has an eternity to straighten them out. I just wanna get there first so I can see the expressions on their faces when they realized just how 'Jewish' everything is. lol
